Some fun here from George Chisholm & His Jazzers from 1960 fooling around with a medley including I Love A Lassie, Stop Your Tickling Jock, Twelve And A Tanner A Bottle, I Belong to Glasgow, The Blackthorn Stick, Strathspey, Scotland The Brave.
George Chisholm was one of the top jazz trombonists in the UK but also he used to work with The Goons and did enjoy the comedy side of things. The trumpet player is Tommy McQuater and the clarinet is Billy Amstell.

From the Hong Kong Philharmonic, trombonist Christian Goldsmith chooses a handful of discs that he grew up listening to on his grandfather’s 1925 Victor Talking Machine. His song choices include The Beautiful Sound, some Yankee Doodle Blues and the amazing Jack Teagarden on beer glass! Cheers!
