Synopsis: "Religious institutions, which have always formed the bedrock of communities across America, today are losing members and even closing their doors at an alarming rate. 

Restoring Tomorrow tells the story of Wilshire Boulevard Temple, the largest and oldest Jewish congregation in Los Angeles, whose sanctuary was built by the movie studio moguls who created Hollywood. But, by the 21st century, this once mighty religious institution was literally crumbling, its soaring 10-story dome declared unsafe. The congregation could have chosen the path of so many others and shuttered the historic landmark. Instead, it set out to achieve the impossible – raise $150 million to restore the Temple’s majesty and vibrancy, thus also restoring the future of the Jewish community and of Los Angeles itself."
