Jesus's words about the poor always being present serve not as dismissal of social concern but as a reminder to seize opportunities for direct devotion to Christ while also maintaining ongoing commitment to those in need.

Week 19: Saturday

Jesus orchestrates his entry into Jerusalem in a manner that deliberately fulfills messianic prophecy. The purpose of God’s revelation in Christ is to move us to believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah and Son of God, the one whom God has sent to grant eternal life to all who believe.
