This is my biggest work in awhile. I've worked and tinkered on this for a year and I now feel it is finished. This piece tells the story of a climb from the darkness and it begins dark and muddy and slowly becomes clear and bright as the music goes out of the darkness. Hope you enjoy.

Out Of The Darkness

This is my clarinet quintet piece. It is based on aspects of the morning like Dawn, fresh air, cloudy and sunny skies and the day beginning. 

As Morning Comes

This is a solo piano work based on the night sky. I composed the early drafts while improvising on the piano.

Waves For Sax Quartet

This piece has been extremely exciting to compose. The inspiration of this piece began with the first 8 measures that were continuously playing in my head until I wrote it down. I didn't have much of an idea on long term forms or what to do so I decided to make it a Fantasia which is basically a through composed piece, to see were the music took me. Although it's through composed the piece took on four main sections with a coda.

Fantasia For String Quintet

This is the first of a three movement concerto for sax quartet. More specifically the 1st alto acts as a solo part with trio accompaniment. This concerto has been my biggest project to date and I am very proud of it. I did not adhere to specific sonata form for the piece but I did keep a similar skeleton formal idea. 

Concerto For Sax Quartet Movement 1- Sonata

The second movement of the concerto, I focused on this one being more tonal, and building, into the big climax halfway through, also the climax of the whole piece, also, one of my favorite pieces to have ever written.

Concerto For Sax Quartet Movement 2- Ballad

The final movement of the concerto. Similar to the first movement the "Fugue" title is more used as fugal elements and ideas while also having hints of a rondo style. The piece brings back original time signatures from the first movement as closure to the overall piece.
