Beethoven Trio in B-flat major, Op.11 Sept 2012 Live WFMT

Christopher Ferrer was born in Valencia, Venezuela and is a member of Lakeshore Rush and Camerata Chicago. Recent projects include performances with Chance the Rapper and the soundtrack for Spike Lee’s Chiraq. He was principal cellist for the 2013-2014 Broadway National Tour of West Side Story, and worked with composers Shulamit Ran, Augusta Read Thomas, and Jonathan Kirk as a member of Picosa. He has also collaborated with and performed the music of Mike Kramer, David Dies, and Ilya Levinson. Christopher studied cello with Ann Griffin, John Sharp, and Cheng-Hou Lee. He was a member of the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra and attended the Royal College of Music in London. Christopher owns and operates the Chicago Violin Shop at the Fine Arts Building in Chicago, IL.
