Born in 1977, in Second Calidonia & still a resident there Wesly Hoyte  aka C'DONIA is Calidonia!

Music and his community is his love and it's been that way ever since. In his spare time he's a song writer, an ability that is reflected in the ease and familiarity he performs all his songs. " My music is influenced by many elements. Dancehall, Calypso, Reggae, R&B. Combined with my lyrical tongue and dynamic vocal, I'm versatile. "Ah jus bad". C'Donia emphasizes,  " I combined all these elements to form my one style of soca, soca is meh love, there is nothing like it."

C'Donia has been recording music for the past 14 years. " That journey was rough but I enjoyed every moment of it. If I had to do it again, I would prefer it to be the same way because the struggle made me who I am. In that journey I've attained some level of success. I've made it the International Soca Monarch Semi finals seven times since the year 2000. I've had popular songs that touch many. Songs like  -
Low Low,Jumping in the Crowd, My Entrance, |Bombin and My Gyal..are just a few of the versatile artistes more memorable tracks. 

This season is proving itself to be the most promising since his entrance into Soca game with my two HOT releases lock Down and Show Meh. "Show meh" however has taken off steadily & is consistently increasing in airplay across the Nation. "Ladies say it makes them feel to bruk out" says a smiling C'donia.
On a more personal level with the artist C'Donia shares his determination to be an example to the youth of the community, forever aspiring to be an example of the rewares that hard work and determination will bring to those who really want better for themselves.
