This is a noisey little thing based on an improv session with me and my new patchblocks. I ran a single piano loop through a series of patches (cut-up granular thing, delays, filters) and then layered the pieces in Ableton. There's a little filtering and minor processing in Ableton but it's mostly all sounds generated with the patchblocks.

Week 26 - Improvisation For Piano And Escalators

This track is based off a couple old recordings I had laying around the archives.

The first is a slightly processed recording of footsteps at an art museum. My local one has very creaky floors. The second is a set of piano sounds that were run through granular synthesis processing using the CsGrain app and were processed a bit more to get them nice and stretched out. Everything was layered in Ableton and a little post-processing was done there as well.

Week 15 - Spring Sprang Sprung

Test patch using a new user-submitted block "Random Double Pulse". Test patch is also run through my Tape Delay and Variable Filter patches.

The note tones are predefined, with randomness introduced via the changing intervals, occasional random tempos, and various stereo/delay imaging.

Melody generated by Little Midi Machine into the MS-20 Mini.
The CV/Gate from the MS-20 is sent to a Patchblock running a dual-detuned wave which is then sent through a tape delay patchblock. 
The raw sound from the patchblock is sent back into the MS-20 where more weird stuff happens.
The MS-20 and patchblocks are also sent through a Line6 Delay pedal.

Melody created by the Xynthesizer generative Midi app fed into the MS-20.
Three patchblocks each have a Dual LFO patch synced to varying fractions of the MS-20 LFO frequency. 
A fourth patchblock is running a tape delay patch
