The track that launched Peyton's career in House as a writer and performer- A Higher Place was first released in 2003 on Hed Kandi records and went on to top music charts all over the world, becoming a personal favourite with many DJ's who now consider it a club classic and one of the defining tracks of that particular era of vocal House!

In 2004, I'll Rise (a cover of American soul singer Ben Harper's adaptation of the poet Maya Angelou's poem And Still I Rise) became one of the most popular tracks off Peyton's debut album on Hed Kandi records, and is still for many fans the Peyton classic that best characterises the essence of his gospel voice set to Kupper's quintessential House beats.

By 2005, Peyton's gospel-tinged tracks had appeared on quite a few Hed Kandi compilations, and his signature tune A Higher Place, as well the follow-up release I'll Rise had become staples on the Kandi dance floor.  It was this year that saw the release of his debut album, and the vinyl LP with mixes of Higher Place, Celebrate, and Keep The Faith which went straight to #2 in the UK Upfront Club Charts and secured Peyton a reputation as a songwriter and a vocal powerhouse that was here to stay.

For the past two decades, Peyton has performed in over sixty countries and across six continents, making headline appearances at events like Sydney’s Mardi Gras and the official Beijing Olympics afterparty and also holding summer residencies in Ibiza at Blue Marlin and Space. Peyton has collaborated with some of house music’s most beloved all stars, including the late godfather of house Frankie Knuckles and the legendary Eric Kupper.

In 2022, Peyton co-founded and launched Revival Records, a label and music collective committed to creating high quality dance productions and more opportunities for artists.
