In 2003, the American singer and son of a preacher man Christopher Peyton took the dance music world by storm with his first-ever hit A Higher Place.  Produced by the legendary Eric Kupper and released on Hed Kandi records, A Higher Place topped the UK dance charts and went on to become a classic anthem of House that is still loved by music lovers and DJ's all over the world.  It was an auspicious beginning to an auspicious career.  Peyton went on to work with many of the biggest names and labels in dance music and has released countless records, earning himself a strong global fan base bolstered by his extensive LIVE appearances at clubs, events and festivals all over the world.  Peyton has performed in over 200 cities, in over sixty countries, across six continents, making headline appearances at events like Sydney’s Mardi Gras, the Beijing Olympics after-party, and White Sensation in Prague while holding regular summer residencies in Ibiza at premier venues such as Space and Blue Marlin.  

By 2015 Peyton had already begun work on a very special album project which was to be a departure from the House music style he is currently so well-known for.  Working with London-based hit-maker James Reynolds, Peyton began writing the songs that now make up the project known as 'Sinners Got Soul Too.'  By 2016 it was evident that this was indeed a very special album with enormous potential, so in order to secure more profile Peyton took a leap and auditioned for The X Factor UK.  The results were superb.  Performing an acoustic version of a song that he had released on Hed Kandi in 2004, I'll Rise, the judges gushed and praised Peyton for being the real deal, and Simon Cowell described him as 'just incredible' and 'pure class.'   The press quickly clocked on to the fact that this was no ordinary artist, and Peyton was immediately considered the one to watch while the bookies had him down as the most likely to win.  With each week and each performance, the nation's love for Peyton swelled until the altogether unexpected outcome at the judge's houses, when Sharon Osbourne chose the much-maligned Honey G over Peyton to go to the LIVE finals, causing an upset that carried on for months.  The overwhelming support that poured in for Peyton was incredible, as was the fury over a decision that many felt had been unfair and ridiculous.  It seemed the whole country was up in arms, and suddenly Peyton had a die-hard army of new fans declaring to never watch the show again and begging him to release an album.  It was a risky mission with an unexpected outcome to say the least   However, now unencumbered by contractual restrictions, with a nearly-finished album full of hits, Peyton is on course to complete the mission.
