My name's Crit (Chris Watland)
I currently reside in Iowa City, IA, with plans to finish up a bit of schoolin' whilst meeting new and genuine people at every turn.

I just recently got into mixing.  Been working with Virtual DJ using a Numark Mixtrack Pro.  I also dabble in FL, yet I still have a lot to learn with it.

From 2003-2010  I was the singer/songwriter of the Des Moines, IA ska band, Slaughterhouse6.  We built ourselves quite the following throughout the midwest despite ska not being the most popular genre at the time. We have since disbanded, due to everyone moving on to pursue their future goals and aspirations.  For 7 years I was honored to work with some of the most talented musicians I have ever met, and have learned so much from the experiences we have all shared.

Since then, I've moved to Iowa City mainly to finish up a small amount of schoolin', but most importantly to meet and hopefully collaborate with a few new faces.

I am open to and appreciate any feedback/constructive criticism you may have for me in order to help me progress as a musician.


I guess other than all that, I really like cats.
