One of Botswana’s premier production talents, Benny T has become one of the most prominent names in the Afrotech scene. Inspired by the music that soundtracked his childhood in the small village of Kanye and the city sounds of Botswana’s capital Gaborone, Benny T’s unique fusion of traditional Afro rhythms and modern techno soundscapes has cultivated his distinctive musical identity. Now he debuts on Sondela with two track EP ‘Black Technology’, an exceptionally produced package that demonstrates his ethereal, elevated sound at its very best.

A trip around the world with the next Madorasindahouse release, by Jalal Ramdani, Nicolas Sasson, and Daniel Rateuke, presenting Las Voces. Taking a break from a heavy touring schedule which includes appearances in the hottest places of the globe, on the side of names like Who Made Who and Blondish, Nicolas collaborates with Jalal Ramdani, the up and coming talent who has already gained the support of Keinemusik and Black Coffee to name a few. 

The duo uses a distinct vocal sample, combining it with afro percussions, creating a heavy dancefloor groover. Daniel on remix duties needs no further introduction: we first welcomed him to the Madorasindahouse family with Gold, the unforgettable collaboration with AWEN, while in the meantime he has topped the sales charts with many of his productions. For this remix, he decides to transform the original to a more club-friendly version with a heavy bassline, messing around with the vocal sample, and delivering another remarkable Rateuke production.

Swiss artist James Deron teams up with singer/songwriter Precious James to brew a perennial musical griot that is sure to uplift listeners and dancers alike. First up, the full-bodied title track marries James’ effusive vocals with lush percussion, bustling beats and riveting Afro rhythms. Infusing airy synths and poignant climaxes, “Elu” sets energy levels at high from the get-go and keeps them beaming. An instrumental mix complements the original. Stripping the vocals but retaining its essence, this version renders space to immerse through the redemptive harmony of sound and motion.
