The main melody is an hypnotic anthem who catched us directly when we have listened it. We can feel in this track like a fight against Ceas and his own Ego, something tortured and creepy, but also with a contrast of something luminous and positive. “Producing an opening track isn't usually in the creative mindset for me, so It was a challenge I really relished. I wanted to create something that kept the energy going throughout, with a firm focus on the groove. This would set things up nicely for the rest of the mix. Being able to select music from Steyoyoke, Steyoyoke Black and Inner Symphony meant I could move through a broad range of different styles, from deeper stuff right through to Techno. We’re back in the capital with the 8th installment of the “Stil vor Talent Berlin” compilation series, which brings forth a group of old and new faces, who exclusively contributed unreleased tracks, gathered under the umbrella of one of Berlin’s derelict treasures. Neukölln's Blub, short for "Berliner Luft- und Badeparadis", was a waterpark opened in 1985 in the Britz area. After its closure in 2002 the site fell into disrepair, waiting for housing redevelopment and revealing a fragile beauty in its decay as days go by. 

Like all of Berlin's remaining ruins, Blub serves as a reminder of long-gone times, while amplifying the current tensions between aggressive gentrification and useful repurposing.

As always, music is the common denominator and Oliver Koletzki delivers the perfect soundtrack with this new release, while Chrisse Kunst renders the visuals.

This EP was written as an ode to spring, season of rebirth and love. It consists of two tracks. The first one, Bloom, highlights the splendor and magic of nature at the end of winter, when the first buds and rays of sunshine appear.
The second one, Climax, evokes the budding pleasure and love between beings. The whole constitutes a deeply melodic, optimistic and dreamy EP while keeping a dancing and festive spirit.
