J. Blackfoot got his break as vocalist with the Bar-Kays. Next Isaac Hayes and David Porter recruited him to join the Stax vocal group The Soul Children. After a succession of gold records, Blackfoot went solo, signing with Soundtown Records, owned by former Stax colleagues Homer Banks and Chuck Brooks. This song, from the album U-Turn, followed Blackfoot's 1st solo hit - Taxi.
