Hailing from Oxford in the United Kingdom, Timmy P has become a staple in the house scene across the past decade, racking up releases on the likes of Local Talk, Strictly Rhythm, What NxT, Nervous and of course Cécille where he returns here following 2022’s ‘Words Fail, Music Speak’ EP.
Title-cut ‘Mylo’s Groove’ leads and sees Timmy P employing a classic filter house feel via an amalgamation of choppy vocal chants ebbing and flowing amongst one another while a sturdy drum groove, gritty stab sequences and pulsating bass keep things swinging throughout.
On the flip-side is ‘Vintage B’, as the name would suggest the composition harkens back to the golden era of US, layering jazzy keys, acid squelches, brass licks and hypnotic voices atop a robust 909 drum workout.

Total Unison EP reflects where D Stone currently stands in terms of sound.

The A-side represents the melodic, disco-influenced aspect, while the B-side showcases my deeper techy side.
The A1 main track called “Total Unison” is a track produced with heavy influences from 70s disco, drawing sample inspiration from the song "Human" by Brief Encounter, produced by John Richbourg. The concept behind “Total Unison” was to create a more timeless high-energy track that can be played in both house and disco sets. My idea was to introduce a top-line melody in the first break, creating a moment that makes me pause and realize where I stand. The sampled vocal also from the Brief Encounter provides a calm moment, creating a peaceful part within the song. Ultimately, the track leads to a euphoric break where all these emotions are released and I can let go of everything as if it's a moment of liberation. The gradual addition of brass instruments and the build up of bassline, creates a strong sense of release. That's why this track has always served as the closing track of my set. The A2 is a track that draws inspiration from 90's house, radiating an energetic vibe through a fusion of high-energy synths and brass instruments, elements reminiscent of the A1 of this EP. On the other side of this EP, you'll find the B1 & B2, two more tech- infused tracks with a rolling groove. These tracks are characterized by their heavy reliance on drums, making them the perfect addition as fillers within my DJ sets.

Nick Curly celebrates the 50th release on his imprint with label partner Marc Scholl. Together, they present Nick Curly’s Altrip EP, featuring a guest remix by Manda Moor.
The EP commences with the title track 'Altrip,' where robust sub-bass melds seamlessly with vigorous drum programming. Following suit, 'It's You And Me' maintains the same potent energy, featuring cascading note arpeggios and intricate percussive elements that traverse the mix. Manda Moor's 'Burning Remix' of 'Altrip' injects her high-octane sonic signature into the original, employing rave-inspired stabs, panning drums, and sliced vocal samples.
As the year '23 enters its final quarter, Cécille Records is set to reinvigorate its event series in collaboration with Peoples Agency. Two official dates stand as markers of this revival. Alongside Nick Curly, an array of artists including Sidney Charles, Manda Moor, Fabe, Leon, De La Swing, Dennis Quin, Timmy P, Reboot and more are poised to join the festivities.

Kyryl Kyryk, known professionally as Kirik, is a Ukrainian DJ and producer hailing from Kherson. Since 2008, he has been deeply immersed in the electronic music scene, drawing inspiration from German, Romanian, and UK sounds. His music seamlessly blends deep, tech, and minimal elements, characterized by powerful grooves and a dynamic energy. Now, Kirik comes with a stunning five-track release on Cécille Records, the legendary label founded by Nick Curly and Marc Scholl, known for shaping the European house sound. The Hug EP showcases Kirik's refined house sensibilities- blending emotional depth with club functionality, and offering a diverse yet coherent listening experience for both DJs and house music lovers.

The journey begins with 'Hug,' the title track of the EP. It's a forward-driving piece full of energy, propelled by a strong central theme and tight percussive elements. Right from the first beat, the track sets the tone for the release - bold, rhythmic, and focused. Next up is 'What We Luv,' a groovier and more classic house cut, built around swinging rhythms and a looping structure that reflects Cécille's unmistakable identity. Its rolling energy and timeless feel make it a natural fit for the label's repertoire. 'Culminating' follows with a darker, more mysterious atmosphere. Like a phoenix from the ashes, the mighty Cecille Records is back, and return with their 2008 club smash, ‘Nesrib’ which launched the career of label mainstay SIS, and here is catapulted into the present day with a remix from Fuse hero Archie Hamilton.

Established in 2007 by Nick Curly and Marc Scholl, Cécille quickly became a trustworthy and steadfast purveyor of deep tech-influenced music. With its reputation for quality unsurpassed, Cécille attracted a wealth of talent, none so much as SIS. German-born Burak Sur’s origin story is evergreen. Caught up in the rhythms of DJ Karotte at U60 club in Frankfurt one night, he decided that dance music was his life’s mission and began to plot his future. Already a proficient rock drummer, he learned to DJ and produce at the age of 21, releasing his first tracks in 2006.
‘Nesrib’ catapulted SIS on a furious 4-year musical journey which saw him win multiple awards for ‘Track of the Year’, ‘Producer of the Year’ and ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year’ across the music press. Still performing at clubs and festivals today, SIS has perfected his live/DJ hybrid show which continues to take him around the world.
For his remix, Archie Hamilton has dug deep into his roots to transform SIS’s original bumpy minimal techno vibe into a fully formed rolling tech monster. Aquatic FX and sparse percussion open the track before that huge growling bass shifts things into high gear. Carefully holding back on the vocal chops, Hamilton carves out a muscular groove before unleashing Williams’ diva lyrics.

‘Mood Vision’ see Harry in a playful frame of mind. Disco nuances drift into earshot as the rubbery bass and crisp percs keep time. Modular synths add energy and tension during the drop when all hell breaks loose and your hands automatically reach for the heavens: like early Basement Jaxx brought bang up to date, this one flies.
‘Purge’ is deeper, more percussive of the two. Another rubbery deep house bass takes hold of the subtle tribalism and draws you in to its hypnotism. Picking up pace midway with extra percussion and a keyed lead line, its heads down all the way to the final beat.
