"i Am america sand so and yeti" is the debut EP from experimental rap choir Autocorrect. The material marks a distinct departure from emcee/producer Cecil Decker and noise artist/keyboardist/guitarist/singer Chris Johnson’s previous collaboration, the grim-yet-smooth noise rap project Salvo. With the addition of avant-garde composer/singer/guitarist Sean OG Burns and bassist/keyboardist Moses Andrews III, the music transitions from harsh, blistering soundscapes into a new, musically complex, and self-assured sound. Without shying away from sonic explorations, Autocorrect manages to create accessible, emotive songs that employ techniques from hip-hop, choral music, experimental sound art, and more.

All self-professed nerds, these artists share a love for philosophy, music theory, and pop culture. These passions drive the group’s investigation of what it is to be human in the age of autocorrect.
