--I was fortunate to meet these guys on my trip to Japan and witness guitarist Yukihiro Atsumi's virtuosity in person. A friend of mine was filming an improv recording session and I was invited to tag along for a memorable experience involving overdubs of acoustic guitar, electric sitars and beats on guitars creating trippy atmospheric music. 
Listening to this track off their new album I was drawn to the similarities with arabic music both through notes and rhythms and wanted to introduce that electric sound i heard in the studio. The result of a handful of sleepless nights having fun with effects is a lullaby set to an Arabic Dabke' beat for the five stages of sleep. Starting with the delicate guitar sounds and ending with the rawkus rhythms that were already there from the awesome performance.  All parts of the remix are from the MP3. Though mangled in places the original energy prevails.
