Having received support from Ø [Phase], Developer, Border One, and other mainstay techno names, Berlin-based DJ Sanna Mun debuts on her imprint Katabasis with three techno cuts that explore the planetary frequencies. The EP was inspired by her work as an archaeologist who specializes in esotericism. 

As for the label, Katabasis started as an experimental techno event at Sameheads in Neukölln, Berlin in collaboration with local musicians and visual artists. The vision behind the project is to springboard underrepresented artists while also reinventing minimal, hypnotic, and early techno. The label’s name and imagery are derived from Western esotericism.
