Cedizer is an unsigned hip hop artist, singer and songwriter from Randfontein, Gauteng in South Africa. Cedizer, whose birth name is Cedric Oratile Seleka, was influenced by his love of music from an early age, where he used to partake in rap battles that took place in his hometown. He also used to stay up until the peak hours of the night writing and coming up with verses and phrases that he later put together to form one solid song.  
 
Cedric Oratile Seleka, well known as Cedizer, was first a part of a hip hop group named Cryptic, who he released his first EP with. Cryptic music group distributed their music by buying empty CDs, filling them up with their music and put them up for sale by encouraging their friends to buy them.  
 
 
After the breakdown and separation of Cryptic music group in the year 2017, Cedizer’s passion for music encouraged him to start his own movement. He has also performed at the GO WEST MUSIC FESTICAL 2017, one of the biggest music festivals which featured great artists like Nasty C, Mafikizolo, Amanda Black, OkMalumkoolkat, etc. One of Cedizer’s singles, Heavy featuring Msoja Atchu, is his most well-known song that played in radio stations.
