This song blends the intricate fingerstyle of classical guitar, inspired by Bach’s BWV 996, with the ethereal and melancholic warmth of Sufjan Stevens’ “Mystery of Love.” The melody flows gently, weaving an introspective and poetic narrative of love and longing, set against a serene, golden-hued landscape. Soft, emotional vocals complement the delicate instrumentation, creating an intimate, cinematic atmosphere. The song evokes a sense of nostalgia and quiet reflection, capturing fleeting moments of beauty and the bittersweet nature of time and memory.

A fun, musical journey. Uplifting in music, while telling the story of lovers problems.

A combination of guitar, strings and strong vocals. Creates a story through intricate progression, a good fast beat and just joyful music.

Bonjour à tous

Un souffle d’âme un hommage à Nicole Croisille
En fouillant dans mes archives studio, je suis retombé sur une vieille maquette, restée discrète, presque oubliée, qui date de 1984. 
En la réécoutant, une évidence s’est imposée : ce souffle musical portait déjà en lui quelque chose de fragile, lumineux, intemporel.
De cette archive est né cet hommage à Nicole Croisille, une artiste dont la voix a toujours su faire vibrer l’indicible.
Pour moi ce morceau s’est imposé naturellement comme un hommage. Parce que sa voix, dans sa justesse et sa profondeur, savait toucher ce que les mots n’arrivent pas toujours à dire. 
Parce qu’elle a chanté l’émotion sans artifice, avec sincérité.
“Un souffle d’âme” est une chanson simple, mais habitée. Elle parle de cette présence invisible qui reste, même quand le silence s’installe. 
Elle est devenue, avec le recul, une manière discrète de lui dire merci.

Un souffle d’âme - Hommage à Nicole Croisille

NEW: It's Christmas - Demo - Airforce

Hailing from the Blue Mountains and Port Macquarie, Candy Oh and Andrew Deasey are Cee Dee Stone.

Meeting through a mutual friend, they quickly discovered themselves a musical match - with Deasey writing intricate, open-tuned riffs on the daily, and Candy's self-taught melodies and lyrics fitting the bill perfectly.

From June - Sept 2024, they wrote 9 songs for their first album, Ugly Skin, and began recording at Everland Studios in October with sound producer Ben Worsey.

In the studio they collaborated with strings maestro Marcus Holden (Fiddlers Feast), Double Bass extraordinare Steve Elphick and OG groover, Drummer Bruce Stephens.

What they have created has been described as a lush soundscape of raw, vulnerable, REAL music. Layered soaring vocals and sophisticated instrumentation - some have reminisced on the likes of Kate Bush and Dan Fogelburg. 

On the journey of Ugly Skin, Candy and Deasey say "it has been a great learning curve, growing in our style and confidence, and we already have the next bunch of new songs underway for a follow up album. We truly hope you love listening to the songs, as much we loved writing them!"
