British singer songwriter Tony Bate went over to see producer Danny Bennett aka DUBSTAX with a track he had just written called “Wiggly Bum”... although the original version was a jaunty folk style track it lacked any drums or bass, DUBSTAX then set about building a heavy drum and sub track to drive this tune along. After rearranging and adding synth and bass parts, hey presto... Wiggly bum was now a heavy weight slice of Electro Blues set to shake the dance-floors and radio waves of the world.

The song Wiggly Bum is an authentic analogue blues track that has been seriously pimped up. No samples used to build the original version from the duo Tony Bate and Danny Bennett. Yes these guys are ready, as we are, to rock on the dance-floors with this bass heavy bomb tune that combines a huge four on the floor dance beat, blends a vintage blues attitude with a unique character of today’s freestyle house with a tech taste. Seasick Steve says the song is ''BADASS'' and wishes he had written it ... In this single release you will find two versions of the song, the long original 12” version for dj’s and diggers out there while the radio edit is the ultimate song for broadcasting!

I was sailing quietly on my raft, along the river.
Suddenly, an imposing rusty submarine appeared on the surface. The hatch opened and an old skinny man came out.
He handed me his Whiskey bottle and screamed me drunkly to join him on board ...

The inside looked like a shabby piano bar, with empty bottles on the floor and old pinup paintings.

We sang and drank all night long !

In an age when many independent labels don't make it past their tenth release we feel it's a fitting tribute to an anniversary such as this. Here's to at least another 250 more…
