Diving into breakbeat rhythms and layered melodic textures, this one's a shift from my usual sound. I wanted to break down the barriers of habit, push past the expected, and let instinct lead the way.

It's raw, it's electronic, it's emotional and it's been living in my head for weeks.

Echo Pulse

This track pulses with a deep, hypnotic groove, layered with dubby echoes and reverb-drenched textures. Warm, sensual synths weave through the low-end weight, creating an atmosphere that's both driving and intimate. It's a slow burn ,steady, tactile, and irresistibly immersive designed for warming up dance floors and suits dark opening sets.

Stone

This dub minimal track rides a relentless groove, built on deep, rolling basslines and sharp, syncopated percussion. Waves of analog synths drift in and out, creating a hypnotic atmosphere that evolves subtly but steadily. This one’s special. It’s a tune inspired by night out and a genre i don’t usually listen to much, but after catching a recent live set, the vibe, the energy, the sound… it all hit different. I went straight to the studio afterwards and decided to put my own twist on that feeling.

I thoroughly enjoyed making this track , creativity’s been flowing lately, and it feels like music is actually moving through me. After years of learning, producing, experimenting, and not always getting much back from it, it finally feels like everything’s clicking. I’m getting more out of my tracks than ever before, and I’m hungry to keep progressing.

It’s been a really good year musically, and Desert Dreaming feels like the start of an even better chapter. 🚀

DESERT DREAMING

This one comes from a place I didn’t expect to write from. It’s part heartbreak, part healing, part late-night studio therapy. I poured all of it into a blend of brakes, dubstep, and drum & bass, the kind of hybrid energy that keeps your mind racing even when your heart feels heavy.

I made this track during a stretch where everything felt cracked open. But instead of letting that break me, I tried to turn it into momentum. Every drum fill, every wobble, every breakbeat became a way of stitching myself back together. It reminded me that when everything else feels uncertain, the one thing that’s always been real for me is making music.

This tune is about rediscovering that love , about taking the hurt, flipping it, and using it as fuel. It’s messy, emotional, euphoric, and loud… exactly the way healing often feels.

Hope you feel a little bit of that energy in it. 💙🎶

Craig “CeeKay” King is a North West-based DJ and producer deeply embedded in the UK’s underground club culture. His sets cut across genres, UK garage, dubstep, house and techno, always delivered with fluidity, precision, and a crowd-conscious approach.  CeeKay’s selections reflect a seasoned digger’s instinct and a dancer’s understanding of the floor.

Regularly appearing across key Northern venues, CeeKay has played at Derby Brewery Arms,Joshua Brooks, The Wav and The Bakery , and The Late South Nightclub. Recent highlights include supporting the likes of Yant, Setaoc Mass, Cleric, Pan-Pot, and Len Faki Arkane, Blasha & Allatt,Coyu,Grace Dahl and Rebekah with prolific labels such as Filth, HøL and Mechano, with warm-up sets praised for their restraint, depth, and groove-led progression.

Holding down a residency at Underground Kollektiv for over 2 years where he's Bimonthly radio show "DIE Solis" plays out new Underground techno, inviting guest djs from the uk and European scene, further expressing his love to play to the mass.

2025 also marks a pivotal moment in his production journey. His debut EP, “Rubber Dub”, is forthcoming, melding dubwise textures, broken rhythms, and sub-heavy minimalism. The release captures the same essence that defines his sets: tactile, bass-rooted, and built for physical sound systems.

CeeKay is also set to appear at Mechano in September, playing alongside Yant, Setaoc Mass, Cleric, Pan-Pot, and Len Faki.A milestone that reflects his growing influence in the UK’s techno continuum.
