gentleness of the whole piece. Is a timid and then grandiose music with been overwhelming.

Pinceladas de Pasion

My musical image of the castle of "San Felipe del Morro in the Old San Juan. This piece is majestic with energy, joy and layers of melodies. The music started with short slow introduction and them around 1:10 minutes the music change to a faster tempo with a dynamic feel. It makes you wanted it  to visit Puerto Rico!

Carlos Enrique Gonzalez-Ruiz was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He began studying guitar and composing at the age of 15. He graduated magna cum laude from the Conservatory of Music in Puerto Rico. He received several awards for his exceptional talent in composition from the Institute of Culture of Puerto Rico from 1983-to 85. He later studied in the U.S. and graduated with a Master's in Music and Post Master's Diploma in Performance from Temple University in Pennsylvania.
