I wrote this last August with tears running down my face.
I was supposed to release this but could never bring myself to and now I can hardly sing it. Instead I'd like to treat it like a journal entry and leave it behind in 2017.

This song serves as a letter I wrote. He was on tour, he hadn't called in months, and while he was gone I stopped getting my period. I didn't have the nerve to call him and tell him that, so instead I wrote this song as an outline of all the things I'd tell him if he aver asked me how I was doing. 

I am proud of this song, and of all of the people that have faced a scare, had to consider abortion, tried inducing abortion because of lack of funds or lack of support, or went through with an abortion alone.
