a sketch of a song i wrote a few months ago. more pop than most of my songs, and with a bit better recording quality. used a Blue Tiki usb mic. i'm going to re-do it more minimalist when i record my next album (which is going to be a lot sooner than i thought). 

breaking bad christmas song demo

christine navarro and i have been busy in the recording studio. this song is really coming along, and i'm pumped about it :)

unmixed, scratch vocal, still going to get some bass and percussion, but it feels amazing because it is the first song from this record that actually feels like what the album is going to feel like

machiavellian

another song from the new album. so far the vocals, acoustic and electric guitar have been recorded. in the next few weeks some friends of mine will be joining Christine and i in the studio to lay down some drum and bass tracks.

we've been working on this project, a few days a week, for three months now. it is really exciting to see it starting to come together. i can finally imagine what the whole album will sound like, and how the songs will fit together. as always, it isn't what i originally expected, and i like what it has become much more than i could have predicted. 

the song is about missing your best imaginary friend.
