She was born Felicia Celeste Scalone in Phoenix, Arizona and was later raised in Los Angeles. As a child, all Celeste wanted was to become a singer, and she was driven by the music of the 80s-90s like Michael Jackson, Madonna, Mary J. Blige, Aerosmith, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. Her sound is a mix of pop, soul and retro funk.

Celeste showed a talent for singing and performing at a very early age and had her first release as a featured artist on the Ja Rule single, “Murder Reigns” in 2003. Celeste has appeared as a Semi-Finalist on American Idol and a finalist on MTV's Making The Band 3 and has written for several other artists and television shows. Her debut single, “My Kinda Crazy” gained industry buzz performing to sold out shows in LA and culminating in an invitation to perform at the Los Angeles GRAMMY Showcase to open up for Grammy Award-winning artist, The Weeknd.
