Authoritarian systems rely on nationalism, enemy stereotypes and state control to consolidate their power. They work with fear and torture. No legitimacy to them. Democracies are under pressure, while disinformation and propaganda are deliberately stirring up insecurity. But what can the individual do? Show civil courage, consume critical media, get politically involved and vote. Democracy thrives on participation - those who remain silent strengthen authoritarianism. United against fascism 💪🙏🏻

Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin share a dangerous worldview: control over participation, power over human rights. Both show contempt for democratic structures—Trump through populist attacks on courts, the media, and election results; Putin through brutal repression, state-controlled elections, and open violence against dissidents.

Their goal: an authoritarian system that promotes nationalism, personality cults, and scapegoating. Minority rights, press freedom, and political diversity? To them, these are signs of weakness, not strength. This mindset strongly echoes the neofascist ideologies of the 20th century.

But the real danger lies not only in their ambitions, but in society's silence. Fascism doesn’t begin with shouting—it begins quietly, with indifference, fear, and the hope that one will be spared.

If we want democracy, we must defend it—with music, resistance, and a clear stance against those who seek to erode it. Trump and Putin do not stand for strength. They stand for regression and racism.
