Pour les dix ans de Popcorn Records, il était impossible de ne pas faire un disque un peu spécial. Nous avons choisi le format compilation, parce que nous voulions plein d’artistes sur ce projet aussi important que symbolique, des habitués du label bien sûr mais aussi des petits nouveaux. Nous avons réuni 3 générations de producteurs, de la légende au new comer, ils étaient tous les bienvenus. Le résultat est la : 18 titres originaux et 19 titres en tout, seul celui du très regretté Daso n’est pas exclusif puisqu’il était déjà sorti il y a quelques années sur le label.

For the tenth anniversary of the French label Popcorn Records, it was impossible not to make a somewhat special record. That’s why we chose the compilation format, because we wanted a lot of artists on this important and symbolic project, regulars of the label of course, but also newcomers. We brought together 3 generations of producers, from legend to youngsters, they were all welcome. The result is there: 18 original tracks and 19 tracks in all, only the one from the much missed Daso is not exclusive since it was already released a few years ago on the label.

Some Hip Hop for your week-end: 
On the last week of August '21 I played on Worldwide FM and Tsugi radio by  invitation of @anderssicre for WW Paris. What a treat! What a pleasure! For this special occasion, I decided to record a 45min set you don’t usually expect from me, being more a house music kind of ears. But given that I have this huuuge tendency for hip hop, a guilt pleasure for R&B (I grew up in the90es, you know...) and some nice records sitting on my shelves, I decided to take them out to the radio and play a selection of my personal collection for you and these end of summer’s days. 
I am taking you on a trip from Detroit to Colombus Ohio, Compton & Oxnard in Cali, Meaux, Porto, Toronto, the U.K and Paris, from 1988 to 2013. 
This is something I wanted to record for a really long time and I am super happy to finally provide this selection for you.

An artist that knows a good thing when she hears and sees it. Céline first experienced day time Sunday clubbing when she was in New York and brought this home with her to Paris where she set up her own Sundae string of parties and effectively set light to the touch paper of this phenomenon. A firm favourite on the French scene by way of Sundae party Céline is happy to flex her musical muscles and certainly does not limit herself to just one genre. 

Céline might be playing alongside Varhat one night and throwing out funky disco basslines the next, that is the versatility of this talented selector. For her induction into our InSession series Céline is in suitably fine form and minimal, house, techno all combine in equal parts to form an hour-long trip worthy of her life in music…

Il y a un an nous partions au voyage au Brésil pour la première fois. Nous en avons rapporté des souvenirs magnifique, un goût un peu trop prononcé pour la cachaça, quelques superbes disques, et malheureusement, une seule chemise.
Voici donc une heure de selecta brésilienne, récoltée entre Sao Paulo, Rio Claro et Rio de Janeiro, jouée à Paris Loves Vinyl en Janvier 2023. Pour l'apprécier au plus fort de son potentiel, nous conseillons un peu de chaleur et une toute petite caïpirinha. 
RDV sur la chaine Youtube de PLV pour me voir passer ces disques vêtue de cette fameuse chemise, mais aussi faire le ménage, boire du soda et saluer des amis imaginaires.
