My vision of techno is quite ritualistic, my aim is to generate dark but yet groovy and impactful atmospheres, using hypnotic sounds to impact the mind, but also caring a lot of about the percussion and grooves behind those, impacting the body as well. Through that combination, we can generate an impact on the soul.
But where there's darkness there's light, so through sparkles of light and melody I try to show that opposites are not that far one from each other.
This is my personal journey through universe shaped into sound.

ARTIST'S BIO:
Rodrigo Iván Roux Tonczar a.k.a. Istvan Roux is an artist and producer of projects related to electronic music. Istvan was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and raised in El Salvador and Peru throughout his childhood. His sound is mainly influenced by the current of deep / hypnotic techno, characterized by the combination of repetitive rhythmic patterns, long modulations, experimental melodies and atmospheres composed of field recordings, cinematic effects and surround pads. The cliché of his sessions is based on the construction and de- construction of rhythms, seeking to generate a line of intensity that is constantly rising with certain breaks, prioritizing groove and harmony throughout the entire set. 

His professional beginnings occurred in summer of 2014 when he was summoned to participate in his first residency at the crowded Bali nightclub, located south of Lima, Peru. Rodrigo joined at his first music production company called Eden (2014-201 7 ) as co-owner and took the role of A/R and events planner.

There were several reasons why he decided to undertake on his own and tackle a new style with which he would quickly identify and gain his musical attention. Ness, Alex .Do, to name a few, were the artists who felt different in live than the artists he used to listen to but very close to what he was looking for and led him to investigate new music styles. In January 2018 he traveled to Lima to form Oil Promote, a production company and bookings agency oriented to genres such as deep techno, ro.minimal, ambient, etc. Over the course of 2 years, he presented 6 open-air editions and 6 editions in venues such as Monumental Callao, Bizarro; With artists such as Synthek, Deaf Pillow, Rodrigo Lozano and Andrea Zapata, his current partner.

Reality and fantasy can both play a role in psychodrama. Reality can be explored and expressed through the use of role-playing and other techniques that reflect real-life situations and experiences. On the other hand, fantasy can be explored and depicted through inventive and creative strategies that allow individuals to explore and express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences more imaginatively.
Overall, psychodrama can be a powerful tool for self-exploration and self-discovery, providing individuals with a means of understanding and expressing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through role-playing, interaction, and other techniques.

N'es, 27 years old, has been working as a producer for several years.
At first, he released EPs and albums in different genres to find his style. 
Recently, he has decided on hypnotic techno. 
He prefers sharp and raw sounds in a more psychedelic atmosphere in sets and in the tracks he has made. 
But besides these, he prefers ambient and deep techno from time to time.

Ness began his electronic music journey in the late 90's and his evolving interest and passion soon encouraged him to start a dj career experimenting with various genres – from trance to pure experimental. With a background in sound engineering and many years of research and fine-tuning, he gradually developed a distinct personal style with a strong focus on atmosphere combined with hypnotic vibes. In 2007 he opened his own record store in his hometown in Sardinia (Italy) and 2 years later he founded his first label - Mono Records.  Currently he is running TGP - an independent platform established since 2010 with Claudio PRC.

Acknowledged for his individual style, Ness has worked with labels like Phorma (SW), Synewave (USA), Dynamic Reflection (NL), M_Rec Ltd. (IT), Informa (UK), Prologue (DE), etc. and collaborated with artists like Claudio PRC, Deepbass, Attemporal, Rasmus Hedlund, etc. 

Ness music and dj sets are well accepted and defined as an exploration of wide range of deep and hypnotic techno and ambient soundscapes.

Italian Techno Dj and producer Dorian Gray deals with electronic music far beyond its partying aspect. Fascinated by astronomy, symbolism and ancient cultures, Dorian’s creations gently offer the listener an introspective journey driven by meticulous ambient pads, hypnotizing rhythms and smart acidic loops. After his acclaimed Nyctophilia EP released on Android muziq in 2015, Dorian’s work appeared on international active imprints such as Circular LTD, Illegal Alien, Black string records and Lost in ether to name a few. He has now gained a well deserved reputation in the scene as his tracks are constantly charted by well established artists such as Cio d’or, Luke Slater or Ben Klock, and were played more than once at Techno temples like Tresor or Berghain. Production work aside, Dorian firmly states that his first love is DJing where he continues to push forward, spreading his word in several gigs across Europe including the infamous Jaded in London. His progressively built sets oscillates between deep Techno and more club-oriented and hard-hitting sonorities.

Submerged in both Djing and production, Fabrizio Lapiana started his career as a Dj back in 1994, influenced mainly by the early 90's sound of Rome and Detroit as well by the first european pioneers of electronic music.
In his DJ sets, Fabrizio makes a precise and intimate techno flow that seduces the dancefloor mixing new and old vinyls range from deep, intricate techno, through an acid and groovy darkness with some melodic gems along the way. 
With his label “Attic Music”, founded in 2008, Fabrizio grow up his sound combining deep aesthetics and techno grooves often allowing ambient or industrial elements. To remember also the strong collaboration with Max_M on his M_Rec 10'' series in 2014, that showed his most emotional view of techno.
His performances in Rome as well in some of the finest wordwide clubs are a way to offer his right vibrations in the techno scene in the last years: the energy created by Fabrizio's sets worth living!

The last one of 2020

As we recall back over 2020, we try to recuperate from angst, agony, and chaos – all undoubtedly present. However, it is easy to take a step back and revisit this year's timeline as one story brimful of fearlessness, empathy, heroism, and accomplishment. Even if we have to work a bit harder to hold this story in our minds, it is every bit as true. 

This time of the year has always been demanding, at least for most of us. Wishing things to be something else rather than what they genuinely are can make us feel worse. Wanting or even expecting this season to suddenly bring an end to quarantine, insomniac nights, inequalities, social tensions, and natural disasters are far from a quick fix. Sadly, December doesn’t come with a magic wand to make things instantly and promptly better. Reality sits here and waits for us to notice it. Most importantly, it challenges us to work and act on it, even if we believe that no amount of misdirection or distraction can change that.

This year, we are delighted to end our audio diaries with a podcast recorded live in Poland by the 22-year-old Jan - a producer known more widely in the music environment, under the pseudonym Raroh. Based in Warsaw, @raaroh is a live performer, whose artistry is deeply rooted in ambient, trancey, and somewhat intensive techno. 

In 2018, he released his first 12" vinyl split record with Głós on Unknown Timeline Records entitled “The Perfect Moment In Time-Space Continuum”. He has notable contributions of dark ambient tracks on series like “One Instrument” and “The Book Of Electronic Music”, the latter being released on Delayed Arrivals Records. His first solo EP called “Across The Sea Of Light” was released on Unknown Timeline Records, while his newest track “Storming Near the Baltic” comes off the new V/A on Crescent London. Full of ambient textures, dub elements, drones, and groovy hypnosis, Raroh most certainly, displays a new view of contemporary electronic music.

We hope that our last 2020 audio diary is a flawless gift for everyone who has supported us along the way of this unprecedented roller-coaster ride. So, even if you are one of the many whose festive season doesn't feel right, even if you find yourself tired from travel bans, lockdowns, quarantine, and restrictions because these initially do not fit in the holiday season, can you allow yourself to accept how things currently are? How does this moment feel? Are you warm? Are you hungry or full? Do you miss someone? Does the floor support your feet? Can you feel them lifting you from the ground? 

We believe you will find the answers. After all, gratitude moves us towards acceptance of the present. 
We wish you safety, freedom from hostility, and above all surplus of health.
