I recorded the pure room tone of my room in New Taipei, then I played back through the speakers and re-recorded it ten times.

this technique was first used by Alvin Lucier in his piece "I am sitting in a room".
What you hear are the resonant frequencies of my room.

during a late night improvisation on 2022.10.17, as I was testing my laptop music performance setup, I stumbled up on this loop.
I thought was really melancholic and beautiful, so I left my laptop, lied down on my bed and listen to this for maybe half an hour.

Samples are Portishead - Roads, a soundtrack I did for an horror movie, and the sample of scratching on a piano that I could have recorded in 2016 (I guess).
