Plasmeed is a new musical project born in 2023 on the shores of Lake Geneva. After many years away from production, the post-pandemic environment has given them a new creative lease of life, of which this EP is one of the first to bear witness. 

Like Plasmeed’s music, this EP claims to be a chaotic blend of genres, which are intended to be perceived as different sides of the same object.
It’s a wind-swept picture, with simple Ambiant Music breezes and more straightforward bass gusts. All mingling with the melancholy and darkness of cigarettes, whose ashes were the soil on which this work was built.

ȃ̶͓͓̳̠͈̉n̴̖̥͋͗̾͒nihilation was designed by working on the swaying of techno, through pop culture, with iconic alternatives artists like Arca, Sevdaliza, TommyCash, Icepeak and others winks references like AHS theme  music or voices come from Japanese horror animate culture merging with industrial metallic sounds and fluid ambiant sounds in a animist brutal environment.

Debuting on TT, ‘Fantasias for Lock-In’ is Joanna Pope’s first release. This EP offers an eco-anxious variant of cheapcore and melodic noise. Foley–heavy worldbuilding is mostly avoided. Respects are paid instead to the orchestral preset and the sentimental harmonies that score sandbox gameplay and mass- market fantasy universes.

Joanna Pope is an Australian-German researcher and writer. This music was made during a period of research into badly rendered ecomodernist futures, and the alternatives to these that degrowth might provide.

They are an art music group where techno, black metal, industrial and noise come together.

VMO, members of Vampillia, fronted by female vocalist Zastar and Kezzardrix with former members Pete Swanson (ex Yellow Swans), and Extreme Precautions (Mondkopf).
