Andrey Chillhomers has prepared a new release – imbued with the spirit of classic liquid funk. The EP includes 4 works, all set to cheer you up on these cold autumn evenings.

Kind of Love (feat. Tracy Thorne) – positive liquid roller with exclusive vocals of American singer Tracy Thorne on the endless theme of love.

Need You (VIP) – a deep, atmospheric track, a reference to Andrey’s old work or rather its remake with a more modern sound and faster pace.

Make It Funky is a perky liquid funk track in the best traditions of this style. Combining the jazz motives of the past, it beautifully wraps them up in a modern drum and bass sound.

Feel Good – in this track Andrey decided step back from the classic flat liquid bass and experiment. Bass guitar and drums intertwined with the sounds of electric piano dilute the classic sound of the release.

The third release of December, and helping to celebrate the end of his year long independent project, CELO goes back to where his 20:20 Project started, the dark side. 'Proxima' is dark, deep and filled with expansive FX and atmosphere, taking the listener down the rabbit hole of drum & bass greatly inspired by his heroes such as Ed Rush & Optical and Kemal + Rob Data. Expect nothing less than drums that change throughout the track, accompanied by dark, twisting bass to make your senses pop!

Operator Unknown returns to Soul Deep, but this time he’s accompanied by the ultra talented vocalist, Carmi, whose vocal stylings add a touch of class and beauty to the project.  The EP represents the third release from Operator Unknown on Soul Deep, who is building an impressive back catalogue on the imprint.  The title track, “Ready For You,” kicks things off with its melancholic piano chords, shuffling breaks, bouncy bassline, and smooth vocals, that help elevate the track into an instant classic.  “Do You Remember,” is up next and features snappy breaks, lush piano chords, soaring vocals, and a wobbling bassline that fits the groove like a glove.  TOO GOOD!  The EP is rounded out by two solo tracks from Operator Unknown, who uses thoughtful melodies, tasteful Hip-Hop lyrics, and catchy choruses to create more undeniable dancefloor grooves.  Overall, this release highlights Operator Unknown’s diversity, and his ability to flip in many different styles.  ESSENTIAL!!

From 90’s raver to ‘late blooming’ D&B producer, CELO’s focus is on the deeper, minimal and liquid side of the drum & bass genre, with influences from artists such as Leftfield, Arkaik, The Prodigy, Break, Foo Fighters and the old skool sounds of early Jungle, hip hop and rock. 

CELO is a UK drum & bass artist now based in Denmark, with releases on Hyperactivity Music, Midnight Sun Recordings and many others. Having gained massive traction on Spotify, and DJ’d at various club nights such as Subhive and FEUM, CELO focuses on producing melodic, deep liquid drum & bass, with the odd track on the darker side of the spectrum.
