[A] CELO – Calling (174 bpm):
Opening the debut release for V33 Records is a dark, cavernous track from Denmark’s CELO. This track cements the standard and tone that can be expected from all forthcoming V33 releases, with deep synths, aggressive baselines and pin sharp drums.

[B] CELO – Submerged (174 bpm):
The B side of the release is no less powerful than the A side, where sub drops meet darkened rasps of energy. A dark, hard drum & bass track, symbolising the roots from which CELO emerged. Fascinated by the beats and baselines during his teens in the late 90's, and early 00's, this track is meant as a tribute to the darker, old skool side of drum & bass, with a modern, clean production sound.

From 90’s raver to ‘late blooming’ D&B producer, CELO’s focus is on the deeper, minimal and liquid side of the drum & bass genre, with influences from artists such as Leftfield, Arkaik, The Prodigy, Break, Foo Fighters and the old skool sounds of early Jungle, hip hop and rock. 

CELO is a UK drum & bass artist now based in Denmark, with releases on Hyperactivity Music, Midnight Sun Recordings and many others. Having gained massive traction on Spotify, and DJ’d at various club nights such as Subhive and FEUM, CELO focuses on producing melodic, deep liquid drum & bass, with the odd track on the darker side of the spectrum.
