CELO’s latest release opener ‘Warm Up’ takes you back to the darker side of drum & bass, filled with deep sub bass, erie synths and mysterious pads. Starting with deep atmospherics, the tracks teases the filtered drums before they are fully introducing, together with an almost trance like synth. Building further and further, the synths build and build together with the mysterious pads, preparing the lister for the simple, yet effective deep sub drop. 

As the sub bass rolls, the synths and pads slowly progress and build into more transitions of twisted bass lines, before finally stripping back for the breakdown.

From 90’s raver to ‘late blooming’ D&B producer, CELO’s focus is on the deeper, minimal and liquid side of the drum & bass genre, with influences from artists such as Leftfield, Arkaik, The Prodigy, Break, Foo Fighters and the old skool sounds of early Jungle, hip hop and rock. 

CELO is a UK drum & bass artist now based in Denmark, with releases on Hyperactivity Music, Midnight Sun Recordings and many others. Having gained massive traction on Spotify, and DJ’d at various club nights such as Subhive and FEUM, CELO focuses on producing melodic, deep liquid drum & bass, with the odd track on the darker side of the spectrum.
