Bulk Moduli

A very historied song, with many versions (Like Spinning Plates EP, 1333 Ft Guyed Mast, Let's Manufacture Static, Eidolon). I came across this particular arrangement of the song again in my car one day while driving to Auburn, AL; the only track on a cd simply labeled "Aye". After having completed multiple newer versions (Guyed Mast remixes, LMS LP) since the resurrected original (on Guyed Mast), I found this take to have a simple charm and energy. I had remembered this version fondly since (a year+ ago), but never had an appropriate place or influence to put it as a track until now. I added harmony and gave the song a production make-over. The instruments, and the primary vocal track are as they were from the original "Aye".

Began in September 2014, completed in December 2014.

The EP's concept is phylogenetic: each song is constructed from an element from a preceding song, whether a small part of it, or a more obvious segment. The first song is constructed from a piece that is not part of the album (is here included as a bonus track).
