Phil:osophy is the collaborative project from Philth and Phil Tangent. Both producers share a love for the kind of rich, emotional musicality that shines throughout this classy two-tracker.

Their own take on deep, rolling soul has led to releases on labels such as Integral Records, Future Retro and Lunar Records. Intricate drum work, clever sampling and warm bass from two producers with a true appreciation of the deeper side of drum and bass.

The reflective vocals of “Guarded” meet a melancholic atmosphere that develops into deep bass and rolling percussion. By contrast, the bright sounds of “Old Souls” makes for the perfect pairing. As one of the first tunes written together by this meeting of Phils, we’re proud to include this as part of their debut release for Dispatch Recordings.

We welcome Method One to the Dispatch Recordings family, the next instalment of the Dispatch Blueprints series. This prolific producer has been writing and releasing music since the mid-90s and has been a huge part of the American d&b/jungle scene for over 30 years now. Perfectly fitting the Dispatch Blueprints ethos, these tracks are influenced heavily by his history, bringing those vibes up to date with modern d&b sensibility and production techniques.

The cinematic intro of “Skylines Fade Away” meets crisp progressive drum work with cinematic depth for a track inspired by transition, a sense of an uncertain future feeding into the pensive atmosphere.

“Clandestine” originally inspired by a string passage shared by friend and frequent collaborator Jamie Myerson, takes the listener on a journey, building and evolving through crisp percussion.

For select Dispatch releases, we’re cutting very limited runs of 10″ vinyl dubplates. Method One’s Dispatch Blueprints 009 is the first release to receive this special treatment. This first-ever run will be limited to 30 black vinyl dubplates. We hope to be able to offer future editions of this and other releases, each in limited, hand-numbered editions.

Marking a shift in the E3B sound, this track strips away the organic warmth of the "Noir Protocol" to reveal a pristine, crystalline engine underneath. Built on FM synthesis, razor-sharp ceramic snares, and a sub-bass that feels like a frozen lake, "Glass Walls" is a study in transparency.
It’s minimal, it’s dangerous, and it moves with the silence of a heist.
Easter Egg: Listen closely to the second verse for a nod to the "Vikings on the shore"—the guardians of the old world sleeping while the new signal slips right past them.
