Skankandbass is dedicated towards the official promotion of record labels and artists in the world of drum & bass music. Since inception in 2009, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Now, through Skankandbass Introducing we release a series of free download singles which aims to spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition.

Dorian Grassl aka Secula is prominent representation of the new breed of rising Austrian talents.  Previously known as Septon, the St. Pölten based producer only debuted as Secula earlier this year on Neosignal, but is already quickly gaining traction.  We’re extremely excited to welcome his cutting-edge production style to Skankandbass Introducing as we present his second release – SNB085 ‘Far Gone / Saturday’.

Integration is a new venture with the purpose of finding, nurturing and releasing music/art from a new generation of artists and help incorporate some new names with the Cyberfunk™ brand.

We have been working with the people of ‘The Funk Forum’ to build a community, helping bring together new exciting talents, ideas and projects. Special thanks to Avanti for keeping the community inside our forum bubbling away and gathering the amazing music for this project.

This 8 track release showcases some of the freshest in global underground talents whom we have been keeping a close eye on.

With tracks from: Audiomission, Entita, Koax, Sam Harris, Simple technique, Stomp, Sublimit, Objective and Wings - Stylistically, this EP has a lot to offer.

From the rolling basses, crisp drums and jazzy pads of Entita’s ‘Paycheck’; a hard hitter with support from some of the scenes heaviest names, to Stomp’s halftime hit ‘Medusa’; which makes use of the extra space by filling the mix with deep subs, extensive sound design and luscious ethereal atmospheres, while keeping the signature punch, groove and weight you expect to hear from a Cyberfunk™ release.

We would also like to take a moment to mention Koax – ‘Iron Hand’ - a tenebrous journey; with dark and haunting undertones, raw electrical synths and moody basses.

Our boy Simple Technique is also back with another appearance on the label this time with: ‘Mean Regression’ - A progressive, organic and wobbly collection of sound design executed with precision and immense control. Contrary to his artist name, this music is far from simple…

Special thanks to all the artists involved in this project, not only musically... but visually too.

We strive to create a diverse platform for artists from any background to be involved in projects and would like to say a huge thanks to Edgar Medalla and Scann for their efforts on the artwork for this release. With over 100 signed tracks under his belt Keist isn't taking things slowly...

Just recently he formed A.R.K.E.D, with Avalon Rays 

He currently has DJ support from: Friction, Kenny Ken, Brockie, Rap, SS,A sides, S.P.Y, Hybrid MInds, LSB, Netsky, Lenzman, Seba, Technicolour, Nymfo, Mutated Forms, Lomax, Dexcell, Cabin Fever, Voltage,Hugh Hardie & Bcee to name a few.

The Biggest signing to date is having a track featured on the Mighty Spearhead Records on the `TEN YEARS OF SPEARHEAD` Album which was released in March.

He has also had a top 5 hit on DNB ARENA with Piranha Fish on Dangerous New Age Recordings and had a track featured on the  Juno number one selling album "Behind the Mechanism" with Odyssey Recordings,



In September 2012 He founded Complex Records.

In 2023 He started producing Hip-Hop instrumentals
