Still the label’s best-selling release, it has reached the n.2 on iTunes European chart, the n.14 in the USA, appeared on more than 100 compilations and 4 movies worldwide.
An organic fusion of reggae, nu-beat and global influences inspired by native cultures from around the world, taking the listener to a journey from Burkina Faso to Iran, from Pakistan to India, to Papua New Guinea, Jamaica, Spain, Italy, working with an astonishing 42 musicians from all over the globe, each bringing a special flavor to the project's stew. 
It received a massive acclaim from the press, fans and fellow artists alike, with Massive Attack and Pete Namlook declaring it an "awesome album with excellent production".

In Dub, Sweat & Tears Gaudi reshaped his ten years old original tracks using only and rigorously analogue studio equipment such as tape echoes, spring reverbs, valve compressors, a production technique that helped him to create a completely new sonic experience, pointing out all the obscured details, the most minute percussive rings and beeps and the most mesmerizing basslines.

To celebrate the end of our 20th anniversary tour, we'd like to share with you this live recording of our show closer 'Lost in (Bird) Soul)'.

An unholy alliance between 'Lost in Translation' (from 'Ape to Angel') and 'Bird Soul' (from 'Rude Mechanicals'), the track was born when we were working out the tunes we wanted to play on the tour and found that the two originals segued well. We played around a bit, and were very happy to find we could do more than segue - we could actually merge the two into one. From there, the live process took over and new elements were added and old ones removed, and a suitable end to the 20th anniversary tour set was born.

It proved to be an excellent set closer as we could tease out the riffs and rinse out the drums and bass for a superbly long time. We both love drum and bass, so it was also good to end a set that began in dub with d'n'b beats.

We recorded all the shows of the tour, but this recording from OZORA Festival in Hungary stood out the best. We are very grateful to Marton, Agnes and the crew for looking after us and to the audience for creating such an awesome atmosphere.

For the spotters, Steve Barrow utters the line "and the treble will be sharp, sharp like a knife, and the bass and drum will be heavy" and 2 Many DJs provide the closing "the dub echoes go as far as the machine lets you go, that's as far as it goes". Celt Islam creates music in quite a diverse range of styles and genres. His Sufi inspired Global Grooves create a sometimes Meditative Dub transfixing all who comes across it. Celt Islam is probably best known to date for his work in the genre of his creation – Sufi-Dub – which he singlehandedly developed and continues to define. He does so in collaboration with well known names such as Inder Goldfinger, tabla player for Stone Roses legend, Ian Brown’s band and Natacha Atlas and Dawoud Kringle who has recorded and performed with the likes of Lauryn Hill.

Celt Islam’s Sufi-Dub work has appeared on some best selling compilations including two by UK global music tastemakers Shisha Sound System. Offers are currently on the table from other tastemakers and labels for licensing of his works for compilations.He is also beginning to gain greater exposure in the UK as BBC Radio 1xtra and BBC Asian network's DJ’s like Bobby Friction and Nihal make his music a regular feature on their shows.
