Poorly mixed/ mastered. Why did I stop? Because I couldn't take the lyrics anymore. :')

What is this mess. What have I done?

Oh gosh, where do I begin? This project actually debuts my new Macbook Pro M4 2024. Wow, this is a beast of computer. No more worrying about CPU or RAM is beautiful. 

Anyways, I did this project as an experiment in terms of what I can do with techno in a major key. (Is this even techno? I don't even know anymore). After a week of hearing these lyrics over and over again.. yeah I think I'm good with working on this song for a while.

I actually bought a MIDI piano score for this song and experimented what I could do with it. In the end, I barely used it. I couldn't figure out how to add it.. or how to incorporate some of the sound to it. Trying to force it in, it became extremely messy to the ear. I didn't like it. I realized, again, simpler is better. 

I tried to make my own kick sound, but ended up vibing too much with a sample that I had to keep it. I sort of want to practice/ lab kicks in the future, but that's a future thing when I feel like it. I just want to make music.

Some things I learned:
Keep. Things. Simple. Don't over think it.
Getting better with basic automations.
Workflow getting a lot faster.

If this is liked as a proof of concept, I'll come back to it. I doubt it, but who knows where the future will take me.
