On 16th June Centre for London and Prospect Magazine co-hosted the first public hustings between the Labour party's shortlisted London Mayoral candidates. The event aimed to help the audience decide which of the six contenders - Diane Abbott, Tessa Jowell, Sadiq Khan, David Lammy, Gareth Thomas and Christian Wolmar - should become the party's official candidate.

The event was held at the Emmanuel Centre, Westminster, with an audience of almost 300 attending.
