In the 2 minutes, 37 seconds spoken word, @megborna’s silver chill voice is awakened to the beating of summoning war drums of the Eʋeawo, fading loosely to the jingling foley of chains, the oceans and winds. Produced in a distant time of self-discovery and an attempted conscious awakening of the self, KOKO BLO KO is one of Megborna’s early works of playing with sounds and foley in telling vivid audible stories that captures the mind of the eye through the listener's perception of mental imagery. But there is a twist, though audio-based, in KOKO BLI KO, you will feel the breeze of goosebumps all over you, an intense hovering of Eʋe spirituality and narratives as this spoken word ends with a fading dry burnt-out voice of the artist.

A master brewery of cultural and traditional sound elements, jiggling to contemporary sound flows, distorted by very unorthodox meddling of sounds, flow patterns and intense energy wrapped with a heavy unfolding of one’s mother tongue with a seamless lyrical dexterity cushioned by orotund-singsong hooks and choruses; MEGBORNA, with a, listen time of 3 minutes 48 seconds; a blend of spoken word flowing into heavy hooks and choruses, intensely landing rap and a rich display of Eʋe, is the artist’s realization of his mission.

With a gentle rise and fall chilly-laidback vocal call, backed by a feminine-divine response, bouncing off the dangling-tingling flow of strings and keys, Blewuko the 3mins18secs experimental fusing of music and spoken word poetry explores in its delivery a blend of Ghanaian native folklore singing styles delivered in Ewe with contemporary street style expressions in Ghanaian pidgin.

At the climax where all vocal and sound elements meet, one can't help but feel a tincture of ecstasy, a feeling abruptly interrupted by unfiltered late 2010s Ghanaian street pidgin flows, as it expresses the thoughts of life’s card dealt the artist and his mirror of peers. 
 With a  dispersing psychedelic ending, BLEWUKO, the Traditional yet experimental, alternative is the go-to vibe for a de-stressing mood.

An Artist, Poet, Musician and a cultural practioner with a deep curiosity to investigate the richness and depth of Ewe Language, MEGBORNA’s practice primarily explores Sounds and Narratives in capturing stories and cultural practices through spoken word (HAKPANYA), music and visuals. Megborna's exploration of sounds looks at indigenous Anlo-Ewe  knowledge systems, Spirituality and Cultural expressions; to re-examine history, reclaim Eʋe (Ewe) Narratives, demand political accountability and advocate the expression of self. Megborna is an artist who believes that culture can play a vital role in questioning dominant narratives and their role in our lives.

Calling his genre Afro Spiritual Groove, He employs sounds, chants, meditations, incantations, whispers, expressions and projections familiar to the people of Ghana and Africa, a unique style influenced by HAKPANYA.
