feeling right

brushing dreams like sand from
both my eyes in autumn
how many months

i was surprised
to find i am
still alive

feeling scared
im most aware of lost
child's time

different than
i was made

every morning what aches
waking up to mistakes
god above
how i change

im taught i was
hurt because i am
broken now

i was wishing then
this would end if i
cant learn how

to make amends
with distant plans i
cant quite see yet

will it hurt
to have to learn you might
never get

to be who i need
ill be you
your hair your shoes
and small things

being more than i am
looking forward to then
i will blossom when im
further down

wishing for a bottom
to this well i often
find myself wishing in
deeper now

Perhaps by simplifying our lives and spending more time in the sounds of nature, we can re-learn what it is to live in the purest form and return to a state of natural freedom.

All proceeds from the compilation will be donated to the Alberta Conservation Association; a group who's main focus is to protect, conserve, and educate as well as in general make the province of Alberta a beautiful place to live and explore!
