🎨 The chapter was also envisioned by Jeddah-based fine artist Shahad Murad, known as Feels By Shad. She navigates the complexities of art and human life with a whimsical yet sharp approach. Her work blends relevant themes and raw emotions with dark humour, exploring nature, inner healing, humanitarian issues, psychology, and identity while blurring the lines between glamour and kitsch.

👩‍🎨 Shad often features uncanny portraits of iconic figures, appropriating scenes from films or famous paintings. Her style varies from abstract to contemporary and pop art, drawing parallels between historic and modern consumer culture through imaginative paintings, drawings, and photographs.

✨ Feels By Shad's art speaks to deep thinkers and dreamers—those who find beauty in darker places and dare to live boldly. Throughout Saudi Arabia and internationally, she experiments with various mediums in the underground art scene. Her early abstract self-portraits continue to inform her later works, reflecting her interests in human nature, alchemy, art therapy, and societal themes.

In the 155th episode of Techno Cartel Podcast we are pleased to host Ramon Tapia

Ramon Tapia was born and raised in Holland, with a Dutch mother and Chilean father – his upbringing had an eclectic mix of cultures which in turn developed and influenced his decision to become a musician. 
As always Ramon likes to raise his bar and his sound evolves constantly with a new inspiring sound. In 2023 Ramon entered into the Raw Techno techno Top 10 charts with a bang, with tracks like his collaboration with Gaston Zani “Friction” on Planet Rhtyhm ”  and “Circular” on Christian Smith’s  Tronic Music in 2024 .Expect collabs and remixes for Pan-Pot , Hertz , Kmyle , A.Paul and much more.
Self-taught, gradually he started learning how to produce tracks solo, with a foundation in pounding techno and hardcore scene which resulted in several releases and remixes , while going to school to become a gold smith he had a job in Antwerp’s famous record store “USA import” where he sculpted a broad  taste in music and his production skills along the way.
He found his resurgence in the 00’s, forging a new school techno sound with his release ‘Land Of Drum’ on Pocket the sublabel of Music Man, a release on Gayle San’s label Equator and more house styled tracks on New York’s legendary Strictly Rhythm label. That's where his name catapulted into the limelight, becoming the biggest turning point for his career, resulting in a residency at Sankey’s Ibiza for three years, multiple bookings around the globe, rapidly growing loyal fan base and global recognition!
With an impressive collection of releases on some of the biggest labels, Ramon decided to start his very own imprint - Say What? Records in 2012. The label delivers a proper dancefloor-ready Techno from respected names and new kids pulling the wagon for the new generation under Ramon’s supervision.
His skills aren’t limited to producing. He is also a highly skilled DJ, performing for crowds all around the world. He has a special way of connecting with the audience and taking them on an intense musical journey with his rolling /up tempo, raw  sound. So far you might have danced with him on festivals like Tomorrowland, Caprices festival, Drumcode Festival, May Day, Loveland and the list is counting.
