Marcus Bergman and Malin Dahlberg met through playing in the Gothenburg-based rock band The Greencoats and hanging out in the same circles. They became good friends quickly, but the idea of forming a band together didn’t come until a couple of years after that. That’s also about as long as it took for them to find a shared musical reference (there’s still only one: Phil Collins). So, in the spring of 2012 they decided to start writing songs together. Their different musical backgrounds turned out to be both a source of conflicts and an asset resulting in a perfect combination of Marcus dark harmonies and Malins’ straight forward tunes. And outside of the music sphere they collect inspiration from precisely the same places: The sounds of Gothenburg and loved friends.
