Acknowledged as a “rising selector” by Crack Magazine, producer, label boss and record digger Ceri steps into 2024 with a brand-new EP ‘Can’t Pay My Bills” via her imprint “Find Your Own Records”. “The title track is inspired by the current economic situation in the world, and also features a positive message that reflects the values and true origins of house music, reinforcing the belief that we can overcome our circumstances and improve our situation” - Ceri The new four track EP drips with Chicago, New York and Detroit jackin’ house with garage influence, and a sprinkle of ripping UK breakbeat for good measure. 

The people’s producer D'Julz steps up, on remix duties, contributing not one but two remixes to the label’s ongoing message of artist authenticity and collaboration. The remixes will be vinyl only, and the originals will see a digital release later in the year. “I have collected D'Julz music for many years, his label started around the same time I started DJing, and it was and still is, one of the few labels that I buy on sight. I know it will always be quality. Something I aspire to do with my label too.”– Ceri. 

As an artist led label 'Find Your Own Records’ has become a home for genuine house legends Mr G, Fred P, Alex Arnout, and has rightly gained support from Mixmag, Resident Advisor, BBC Radio 1, BB6Music and BBC1Xtra. Find Your Own Records recently launched with a sold out first release; Ceri’s ‘Life Holstee E.P.’ which included a timeless Fred P Reshape. Fusing the sounds of Berlin, Detroit, Chicago and London, the release was supported by everyone from Midland, Move D, Ben UFO and Fumiya Tanaka, to Steve O’Sullivan.

The second release, the ‘I Need You To Make Me Sweat’ E.P. also draws inspiration from the classic sounds of Chicago and Detroit, and features none other than a remix from bona fide Dance Music Legend, Mr. G.

The title track ‘Need You’ is a Juno bassline driven, classic sounding ‘proper’ deep house track, raising in energy as it peaks, with vocal snippets and modulated analogue drums building throughout.

Mr. G has taken Ceri’s title track, ‘Need You’, and twisted it into a harder, faster ‘Jaded Dub’, capturing a dark and driving energy, tantalising and adding to the drum grooves with his trademark swinging rides and industrial synths, adding his infamous MPC swing to the vocal snippets, and building the tension throughout, as the one and only G can.

The B side ‘Sweat’, draws inspiration from 80’s and 90’s house with a modern dark twist, mixing variating funky drum machine rhythms, classic house vocal samples and pulsing sub-bass.

The first release was quickly repressed, but there will be no repress on 002, so grab it now before it sells out…

Ceri and Alex Arnout launch their new collaboration alias 'CnA', for the eagerly anticipated third release on Ceri's Find Your Own Records label.

The A Side 'Higher' is a happy house summer festival banger, inspired by getting High from the Music, and the B side 'Show me What you Got' is an eerie slice of breaksy techno, reminiscent of the early UR sound.

On the remix is Ukranian SE62, famed for his releases on labels like My Love is Underground and Slapfunk. He reworks the original into a dubby summer laid back deep house minimal cut.

The first two releases sold out on vinyl, had plays on BBCRadio1, BBC6Music, Have rave reviews in dance music press, as well as being MixMag's Techno 'tune of the month', and was also supported by some of the biggest and most respected selectors in the scene (such as Ben UFO. Ceri has already more than proven herself as a DJ and producer, holding down residencies at highly respected parties and drawing support for her music from some of the biggest names in the business. Now the London-based artist is spreading her wings by launching 'Find Your Own' as a vessel for her deep, punchy brand of house and techno. 

Life Holstee EP is the perfect opening gambit for her label; a life-affirming club-ready record that fuses the deepest, darkest sounds of Berlin, London and Detroit, featuring two original productions, backed up by a remix from bonafide NYC / Berlin legend

From first turning heads with her deep, tripped out 9-hour sets as a resident at infamous London after party Jaded, Ceri’s reputation as a captivating DJ has since taken her beyond London to ply her trade in Berlin, Mexico, Ibiza and plenty more besides, not to mention scores of festivals in between. 

These formative experiences fed into early releases on Save You, Midnight Social and 3am, and now, after time out to further develop her sound, the Life Holstee EP presents a woman at the peak of her production powers. Inspired by the empowering message of the Holstee Manifesto, the title track works abstract snippets of the manifesto’s text into a surging, bass-heavy roller pitched squarely at the heart of the night. Laden with Moog synths and modulated analogue drum rhythms, the inherent warmth of the track draws you in deeper with each successive bar. 

Fred P should need little introduction – for more than 20 years he’s been flying the flag for true deep house and techno alongside peers such as Jus Ed, Levon Vincent and DJ Qu. With a masterful control over the elements that Ceri provided him with, P turns out a refreshing variation of “Life Holstee” that works some playful analogue bass into the mix while ramping up the dubby effects and unfurling sumptuous, ethereal pads to create his signature ‘none-deeper’ sound. 

Ceri’s B-side production, “We Do”, takes a more sparse approach that places the drums at the front of the mix, using atmospheric touches and further disembodied vocal fragments to create a truly head-spinning cut steeped in sensuality for the discerning dancefloor.

Find Your Own Records recently launched with a sold out first release; Ceri’s ‘Life Holstee E.P.’ which included a timeless Fred P Reshape. Fusing the sounds of Berlin, Detroit, Chicago and London, the release was supported by everyone from Midland, Move D, Ben UFO and Fumiya Tanaka, to Steve O’Sullivan.

The second release, the ‘I Need You To Make Me Sweat’ E.P. also draws inspiration from the classic sounds of Chicago and Detroit, and features none other than a remix from bona fide Dance Music Legend, Mr. G.

The title track ‘Need You’ is a Juno bassline driven, classic sounding ‘proper’ deep house track, raising in energy as it peaks, with vocal snippets and modulated analogue drums building throughout.

Mr. G has taken Ceri’s title track, ‘Need You’, and twisted it into a harder, faster ‘Jaded Dub’, capturing a dark and driving energy, tantalising and adding to the drum grooves with his trademark swinging rides and industrial synths, adding his infamous MPC swing to the vocal snippets, and building the tension throughout, as the one and only G can.

The B side ‘Sweat’, draws inspiration from 80’s and 90’s house with a modern dark twist, mixing variating funky drum machine rhythms, classic house vocal samples and pulsing sub-bass.

The first release was quickly repressed, but there will be no repress on 002, so grab it now before it sells out…

Wiggle Records is back after a much needed summer holiday and what better way to get the ball rolling again, than with some follow up remixes of our last brilliant release from Lee Guthrie, the No Doubt Ep. On remix duties, we are over the moon to be bring to you the following talent.

Dachshund... Calls for a human presence behind the machine, sweat on the dancefloor and the swinging of hips! There's an effortless groove to his style that fits right into Wiggle's straight jacket like a glove and suits his remix of "No Doubt' perfectly!

Tom Gillieron.. is without a doubt, a complete and utter bad boy on the production front and his live sets are constantly mashing up dance floors all over the shop! His remix of "I Heard This Last Night" is a complete work of art. 

Ceri. who's excellent productions can be found on label's like 3 Am and Midnight Social Recordings has turned in a deep and twisted version of "Attention" that works the dance floor how it should be worked and finishes off a remix package to be proud of. Only her second remix ever released, it had early support from none other than Richie Hawtin, Jamie Jones, Raymundo Rodriguez, F.E.X., Stacey Pullen, Arnaud Le Texier and more.

Ceri's diverse DJ style was crafted playing nine hour sets during her residency at Corsica Studios, for Jaded, London’s longest running after hours party. Carving out her distinctive reputation by moving from deep and dubby grooves, via heavyweight peak time house, on Detroit techno,and beyond, Always timeless, always with soul. 

Her renowned reputation as a DJ, has seen her grace the decks at some of the world's most revered underground clubs and parties, such as; Heideglühen, Panorama Bar (where she made the dancers cry each time!), and Blitz Club in Germany, Amnesia, Pikes, and Cova Santa in Ibiza, fabric, Printworks, The Lion and Lamb, Drumsheds and Junction2 Festival in London, to name but a few. Playing alongside the likes of everyone from Ryan Elliot, Roi Perez and Objekt, to Mr. G, Kerri Chandler, Jeremy Underground and Paranoid London...

Alongside her DJ career, Ceri’s also been immersed in production for many years. Including launching own label; 'Find Your Own' Records, with her sold out Life Holstee EP, featuring a remix from Fred P. As well as releasing on London’s most famous and iconic club’s record label: fabric Records. 

Her music is supported by some of the best names in underground electronic dance music; Ricardo Villalobos, Ben UFO, Midland, Move D, Kerri Chandler, Lakuti, Chez Damier, Jamie Jones and Richie Hawtin, as well as achieving worldwide Radio Play including BBC Radio1 and BBBC6Music.

Alongside her own DJ and music making, Ceri also mentors up and coming producers inside her online Music Production Community ‘Find Your Own Sound’. She also regularly gives Talks and Masterclasses on; Music Production, Creativity, Meditation, Mental and Physical health for the likes of; RedBull, ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event), Native Instruments, Point Blank Music School, Beatport, SupaJam, Beats Learning and more. As a respected figure not only within music, but in wellness too. 

Despite all these achievements, and with an upcoming USA Tour debut, it seems certain Ceri’s ambition will take her to ever-greater heights in pursuit of exciting new pathways, through the electronic landscape and beyond…
