q. pls introduce yourself:
I’m Soria, I’m an artist and musician from Ireland, living in Berlin at the moment. 

q. is there a story behind the mix?
I wanted to tap into a vibe of strength, passion, intrigue. Also wanted to keep it fairly loose genre wise and true to what I’ve been listening to and the mood I’ve been feeling. 

q. what’s the best way to enjoy your mix?
Defo a solo headphones moment, maybe a long journey home. Like after exiting a situation…

q. describe a favourite object in your living room...
I think this vintage Avon perfume called “Precious Doe” my sister got me a few years ago. It’s long empty but the deer shaped bottle is so beautiful as an ornament. I think of her every time I see it. 

q. are you working on any projects right now (music or not music)?
I rarely make music these days and when I do it’s very sporadic, but I definitely find myself excited by collaborations at the moment. I’m really excited to mix down the recordings of some shows with Jennifer Moore in Dublin. We’ve been friends for so long, beginning to work together was so inspiring this year.

Mexican-American producer, composer and DJ Debit takes over as part of a Modern Love Takeover.

"This show traces how cumbia rebajada shaped a broad field of electronic practice. The slow and pitched down technique that emerged in Monterrey through Sonido Dueñez altered meter, weight and feeling. Its influence surfaces in dub oriented edits, digital and post digital cumbia, regional vaporwave, experimental hybrids and South Texas approaches to edits and appropriations like chopped cumbia and DJ Screw’s fx dialogue with southern hip hop. These forms center time manipulation, bass pressure, repetition and the local tools people use to reshape inherited music. The set moves across multiple regions and roughly a decade of production, showing a magical exchange of methods where the cumbia rhythm becomes a shared terr...

El cierre de Bosque Libre estuvo a cargo de la dupla de dj's  Dra. Snoozelova y Thorsten, quienes invitaron a participar a Matias Rivera, el cual no pudo presentarse en el horario que le correspondía debido a un dialogo con la policia, los cuales querían detener la música pero no lo lograron. 

Dra Snoozelova y Thorsten Broda son músicos y dj's, juntos han participado en proyectos como Los Wawis, grupo ligado a la cumbia, y actualmente en Santiago Analytica, colectivo que desarrolla un sonido en base al uso de sintetizadores. Tiempo atrás Dra Snoozelova estuvo presentándose bajo el nombre de Dj Quiltra.  

El siguiente registro es un set lleno de emoción, mixturas orgánicas, líneas de bajos con harta presencia, sintetizadores e inigualables arreglos vocales, poniendo así el punto final a una jornada que a ratos parecía una ilusión.

Bosque Libre es un encuentro musical que tiene como premisa mantener el espíritu colaborativo por medio de la autogestión. A la fecha cuenta con 5 ediciones en 6 años desde su gestación en el año 2014, tiene la particularidad que se desarrolla en la precordillera del Cajón del Maipo al sur de la ciudad en Santiago de Chile, cercano a la naturaleza, alejado de centro urbanos y señales telefónicas. Acá se busca promover un contexto de integración, diversidad y por sobre todo, brindar libertades individuales a los asistentes. Se han presentado diversos proyectos, tanto en formato banda, solistas como también Dj’s. Gente de Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Brasil, México, Estados Unidos, Holanda y Alemania han pasado por este escenario.
