Gorgon City have catapulted their way to fame since the duo formed in 2012, selling 1.2 million records globally, gaining a #1 billboard dance single and “reviving the glory days of garage and vocal house” according to US trend thermometer the Fader magazine. 

Taking a break from their Black Butter home, Damian Lazarus welcomes them to his Crosstown Rebels label for the first time for ‘Money’, an atomic bomb of an EP bleeding with big moments. "We've been playing both tracks in our sets and love the reactions it's been getting,’ explained Matt & Kye AKA Gorgon City, “we've been fans of the Crosstown Rebels label and parties for many years so it's an honour.”

David Morales lends his legendary Red Zone stamp, created in the early 90’s for when the club was at it’s peak, his high energy version of ‘Money’ creates a mind-bending state of mind. While Riva Starr, hot on the heels of his Cajual album, strips it back to the elements where we feel the blood of its veins. 

Gorgon City will kick off their Ibiza residency on AMNESIA terrace this summer and in May they co-headline Central Park in NYC and Shrine in LA as part of a massive 5 date US tour. This EP is their calling card to the underground, leaving no doubt why NME named them the “crème de la crème of new UK dance talent”.

Certified Jackin was formed in 2011 with the intention of taking the big-bass “jackin house” sound that was taking over the North of England and the Midlands and deliver to a wider audience. This was achieved via a simple YouTube channel which quickly, and slightly unexpectedly, became a massive success, harnessing close to 100,000 subscribers and over 25 million views. The sound we delivered was greatly received throughout the United Kingdom and across the globe.
 
Over the following years, we helped promote and intensify the early careers of well-respected artists who featured heavily under the CJ name. Artists such as Hannah Wants, Chris Lorenzo and of course, our head honcho: ILL PHIL, amongst many others. Their meteoric rise through the music scene has, along with other artists and DJs brought underground House music to the forefront of the dance music world, specifically the ‘Jackin’, ‘Bass’ and ‘Tech House’ genres.
 
We host events across the United Kingdom, mainly at the prestigious Lightbox in London where we have hosted some of the best in the business: Endor, The Wideboys, Tom Bull, Rich Pinder, Skapes, Martin Ikin and others. We have taken Certified to Dublin with Tom Zanetti, Tom Garnett and Nick Hannam. We’ve also graced Tank in Sheffield, Insomnifest in Leeds, Manchester, Rotherham, Maidstone and Dover.
 
ILL PHIL’s world-famous Mixtapes have amassed millions of plays on SoundCloud and our debut album ‘Certified Jackin: Underground House Music’ cracked the Top 10 of the iTunes dance chart in mid-2014.
