Lynk started out rapping alongside his schoolmates in the group "Represent" and kept on with his love of music until reality had a different direction for this young artist. Lynk attended Murray State University and Stillman College on academic scholarship to be pre-med and continue his family's dream to become a pediatrician. "I wanted to be the one my family looked at and bragged to friends to about what I accomplished," Lynk states "rapping is just another avenue to get where I want to be." Lynk was arrested and charged with home invasion, amongst other charges, only to be released on unreliable witnesses. "It was a wake-up call for me, and while I was locked up I found I could reach people through music. Not everybody has done what I've done and been where I've been but I speak on everything I know about...no bullshit."
