Tomorrow I will turn 28, and 'make it through' 27!
This demo was like the soundtrack to mine & YvngError's up-and-down Ceru.li/beach L.A. tour as 27 y/os last year.
I considered pushing it through as a solo track, but did lots of other things as a 27 y/o instead, including making my first film (Ceru.li/closure-cafe) and producing a true concept-album (Ceru.li/2).
I'm now making this song concept available to any 26 y/o artists to release on their 27th birthday. If you contact me, I have a Logic file in 120BPM and A minor, and I'd be happy to offer up other ideas I have to develop the song (namely verses which pay homage to members of the 27 club, and a middle 8 breakdown about being a 'legend').
RIP 27 club members.
