Title track Once Again has received a remix treatment by two young dutch producers called Morning Factory. These guys show the same passion for their productions as Reggie, and they delivered a great edit version that added some extra energy to the original mix (which is not on this record... might come later). Another Clone Royal Oak that will stay in the box for a loooong time!

Tronic continues its roll out of summer bombs with the ‘Origin’/’Freed’ two-tracker from Dosem, an artist who has previously made a name for himself with sterling output for Technasia sub-label SINO. 

Girona-born Dosem (aka Marc Ramirez) has a reputation built on his ability to combine his love of techno, house and electro and create tracks which drawn on all three. Always futuristic in terms of sound design, Dosem’s output is always energetic and melodic – qualities which Tronic label-boss Christian Smith is more than engaged by. 


‘Origin’ is the first of the two tracks and it opens proceedings with an epic, synth heavy vibe. Filtered, impeccably programmed drums gently unfurl into a persistently padding groove that kicks on a big system. As the track opens up to drop, metallic synth chords shimmer out of the groove and deliver a massive punch. The intensity grows continually throughout and the melodies are pushed to their maximum, making this an unashamed anthem. 

The flipside’s ‘Freed’, while more ‘heads down’ than it’s counterpart, is certainly no shrinking violet. Driving drums are topped with long, building vocal screams and rising synths create a feverish atmosphere that, added to a pulsing and brutish bassline, goes off.

This one means quite a lot to me, as i've been spending the better of the past year and a half honing my skills and acquiring gear to develop a "my" sound further. Working more with tones and rythms.
It's slightly needless to say how stocked i am to have a release on Plak which is a staple here and internationally, with previous releases of artists such as Chaton, Ripperton, Quarion, Nhar, Agnès, Dachshund, cco among others. If you haven't heard of them, it's worth checking them out and their catalogue ;)

Coming not so far from the Alps, Opuswerk is a new talented artist in love with hardware equipment and already got some strong producing skills.The charismatic tall guy is a main actor in the renewal of the techno scene in Geneva, throwing parties every week-end he's got a residency at Milk club and will also open up for Carl Craig at Electron Festival…yep Opuswerk knows how to move a crowd. 
The A-side features Futurewerk, the first of a collaboration with London Based techno outfit Fundamental Interaction, is a raw dubby influenced track where chords and rhythm clearly aim for the dance-floor at 3am, or later depending on your countries going out habits. On the B-Side, TH13-13 is a flashback to the mid-90’s, a squirting bassline with bleeps and blops, it plays subtly with a syncopated rhythm section and discrete chords…Pure Hardware jam ! 
Comes in 180 grams of black wax, carefully mastered at D&amp;M,Berlin. Full printed sleeve designed by Frederic Laborde. 
This EP, is the first of hopefully others in 2012.

Filthy Rich & Redondo - One Too Many (German Brigante Remix) [Materialism]

Pure class is the name of the game in these two slices by Sergio Fernandez, and on the opening track he lures us in with a cyclic riff, uplifting percussion and housey vocals.On &#8220;Heart Vibration&#8221; a rubber-band bass leads the way, while a snappy rhythm section allows the tribal vibe to evolve and spoken word passages set the hazy tone.
