Cess Citizen has spent five years writing his thoughts, feelings, and conclusions. This is how CESS CITIZEN has come to be a recording artist: one who looks past the normal oppression and into the characters and themes that make up the turmoil. The impact of his recent release, ‘Falling In Style’ is a vivid illustration of how Cess’s writing process finds balance in a chaotic world – working in conjunction with instrument based music, each song’s message is received either quickly or later with a powerful realization. Continuity is heard throughout the album’s musicality and lyrical elements that hold true to the ongoing theme of the album, which is growth and responsibility. Focus on family, business, and social responsibilities is Cess’s way of navigating the known and unknown in order to curate balance.
